budget vote results

The results are in for Lyndonville Central School District's 2023-24 Budget Vote and Board of Education Election.

Proposition 1, the proposed budget of $16,939,491, was approved by 87% with 118 votes in favor and 17 opposed.

Proposition 2, authorizing the district to purchase one 64-passenger school bus and one mini-bus for the use in the transportation program of the district, at a maximum estimated cost of $275,000, was approved by 87% with 117 votes in favor and 18 opposed.

Proposition 3, authorizing the tax increase to support the Yates Community Library to $124,808 annually, was approved by 76% with 104 votes in favor and 33 opposed.

Further, Jerod Thurber was reelected to serve a three-year term on Lyndonville's Board of Education.
