2022-23 Budget Vote and BOE Election Results

The results are in for Lyndonville Central School District's 2022-23 Budget Vote and Board of Education Election.

Proposition 1, the proposed budget of $15,704,953, was approved by 74.8% with 226 votes in favor and 76 opposed. 

Proposition 2, authorizing the tax increase to support the Yates Community Library to $119,183 annually, was approved by 65.7% with 199 votes in favor and 104 opposed.

Proposition 3, authorizing the district to purchase one 64-passenger school bus for the use of district transportation not to exceed $145,000 from Lyndonville’s Transportation Reserve fund, was approved by 81.3% with 248 votes in favor and 57 opposed.

Further, Vernon Fonda, Harold Suhr and Kristin Nicholson were all reelected to serve a three-year term on Lyndonville's Board of Education.

BOE Candidate Results: 

Vernon Fonda: Total Votes 185

James Houseman: Total Votes 168

Kristin Nicholson: Total Votes 171

Harold Suhr: Total Votes 178
