We are proud to offer Universal PreK to our community! This program allows students who turn 3 years old by December 1st of that school year to enroll in our full-day 3-year-old UPK program. We also offer full-day programming for our 4-year old-classes as well!
The Lyndonville Central School District is now accepting applications for its newly expanded pre-kindergarten program. The full-day, developmentally appropriate program is open for children of the district who were 3 or 4 years of age by December 1st.
The Universal PreK grant from the New York State Department of Education allowed the district to expand the hours of its previous program for 4-year-olds and initiate a new program for 3-year-olds. The five-day-a-week program engages students in planned educational activities, quiet play and rest time. Breakfast and lunch will also be provided.
This program is provided at no expense to the parents. If you are interested in enrolling your child or have questions about the program, please call Mrs. Draper in the Elementary Office using the information to the left.
The Lyndonville Central School District holds Kindergarten registration in late Spring for students entering school in September. If your child will be 5 years old by December 1st, please enroll him/her in the Kindergarten program. Parents are strongly encouraged to register and enroll all eligible students so they may benefit from the elementary curriculum with emphasis on literacy and numeracy. Please call the Elementary Principal, Dr. Elissa Smith at (585) 765-3122, with any questions.
Parents of any eligible students who have not received an informational letter from the school by February 1st should contact Mrs. Draper in the elementary office. Please call (585)765-3122 for more information or if you are unsure of your child’s status on the upcoming year's class list.
