Today, the district was made aware of an incident involving a private investigator who was observed on school property taking photographs of a vehicle. Upon immediate review, it was confirmed that the individual was acting as part of an ongoing investigation conducted by an external company.
We have since contacted the company involved, and they have verified the legitimacy of the investigation. However, we have made it clear that such activity is not permitted on school grounds. The company has issued a formal apology, and has assured us they will fully respect the privacy of our students, staff, and community. In addition, this individual and no representative of this company will be allowed on school grounds again.
We want to reassure our families and community that at no time were any students, staff or community members at risk. The safety and privacy of our school community remain our highest priority.
