Dear Families, Parents, and Community,
We have received further guidance and details regarding reopening updates:
July 13th: guidance is issued to districts by New York State
July 31st: district reopening plans due to New York State
August 1- 7: decision to be made by Governor Cuomo regarding opening of schools
By the end of the week, our District will be releasing a Reopening Survey for you to complete and submit electronically. This information will be used to help guide decisions moving forward.
A Reopening Committee has been established that represents all groups and stakeholders in our District. Our Booster groups (Music, PTA and Sports) will be providing parent representation. We will be meeting the weeks of July 20 and 27 to complete this important work.
Please be on the lookout for an update later this week with information for the Reopening Survey.
