parked school buses

Lyndonville Central Schools has wonderful bus drivers that safely transport our students between school and home. Each day we are able to make our bus runs, we are grateful, as schools across the nation are experiencing serious bus driver shortages.

From time to time, we have a day where we are short a bus driver, which causes us to alter dismissal times for one or more of our bus runs. We attempt to not impact the same bus in the same week. We do everything possible to notify parents/guardians in advance of these changes. If your phone numbers have changed, it is imperative to update them with us so we can keep you informed. Please contact the main office in your student’s school to notify them of any changes. Please make sure your child, no matter how young, knows your address. Please practice reciting your address with your child daily, not only for bus transportation, but for your child’s personal safety.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Contact me with any questions and/or concerns.

If you are interested in applying to be a bus driver, visit our Employment page.

Sincerely,

Sharon Smith, Superintendent of Lyndonville Central Schools
