The Lyndonville Central School District Book Vending Machine Program will allow K-6 students to select books of their choosing for their birthday and for displaying positive behavior. The book vending machine will enhance the educational experience of our students by providing them with a unique, fun way to select reading material. This will help pique student interest in books and reading. The district strongly believes in research that shows that when children have the choice to select a book of their interest, their desire to read increases, leading to improved literacy rates.  Happy reading, everyone!

Students selected for the ribbon cutting ceremony were from a drawing of those who consistently do the right thing, including being on-time to school! They are:

  • Kindergarten - Veronica Blount
  • First grade - Hadley Hill
  • Fourth grade - Adeline Tarr
  • Fifth grade - Camden Price
  • Sixth grade - Madelyn Ingersoll
We will be unveiling our Main Street Book Vending Machine right after winter break!
