It's been an exciting week in wrestling with more to come! Best of luck to those wrestling on Saturday!

Quite an accomplishment!

Students in grades 5/6 art class transformed sketches they have been working on all year into watercolor paintings. Nicely done!

For students in grades 7-12, stop by the HS Library on 2/14 and 2/15 to pick out a book to read before mid-winter break. Bonus: hot cocoa!

Some wrestling milestones were reached last week. Sebastian Temich earned his 150th career win and Ty Holmes was declared Class B3 champion. Congratulations!

Girls' Varsity Basketball seniors were recognized last week. Best of luck to Katelynn, Jocelyn, Kayli, Ashlee, Elizabeth and Tisha in their final season playing for Lyndonville.

Boys' Varsity Basketball seniors were recognized last week. Best of luck to Justin, Daniel, Bradley and Nolan in their final season playing for Lyndonville.

Marking period 2 report cards have been posted to the portal for students in grades 3-12. All report cards for students PreK-12 have been mailed home.

Lyndonville students in 5th & 6th grade are excited to get letters back from their pen pals at Barker CSD!

Fifth grade students enjoyed a field trip to the Rochester Museum & Science Center today where they explored all three floors of interactive exhibits and participated in an engaging robotics lab.

The Girls' Varsity Basketball defeated Albion last night, 53-22. Well played, ladies!

First graders in the Crazy 8s Math Club kicked off their first session by making 2-D and 3-D shapes using glow sticks and Styrofoam balls. Having the lights off made it even more exciting! Students took the materials home to continue building shapes.

The Boys' Varsity Basketball team lost to Letchworth last night. Good effort, boys!

Students Arietta M. and Rashad G. have been accepted to the Daemen University All High Art Show. By participating in this art show, these students are eligible for scholarships. Congratulations, Arietta and Rashad! More info: https://allhighartwknd.com/exhibition-day

Reps from GCC assist college-bound students with experiences designed to build their capacity to be successful in a college environment. Students had a great time touring the college & hearing from current college students about the transition from high school to college.

The goal of the program is aligned with the SUNY Guided Pathways Framework to support rural students through academic & career planning and advisement from the beginning of career & major exploration, through to their graduation from GCC.

In November, interested juniors & seniors traveled to GCC for a program facilitated by Pathway to Success. Pathway to Success is a new grant-funded program offered to rurally coded GLOW area high schools & rural college students at Genesee Community College.

In Rm. 124, in honor of MLK Day, the class discussed ways to promote peace, love and kindness. Alisha Duffina's students did a great job making leaves, and they are very excited about "Our Peace Tree"!
