☀️ Yesterday, the elementary school students had some Field Day Fun! The students enjoyed a handful of outdoor activities - the most fun perhaps being the inflatable obstacle course and water slide! What a great way to stay cool for the summer. 😎

🧊 Our PreK3 archaeologists had a great time excavating these frozen icy dinosaur eggs! They used droppers with warm water and other tools to melt the ice. All their eggs hatched cool dinosaurs that they were able to take home! 🦖

📚 Fifth graders experienced history through the lens of Old Fort Niagara! The field trip was led by a knowledgeable docent, and students enjoyed being among the reenactors and artifacts, and listening to the water of Lake Ontario. 🌊

🥎 The Girls Modified Softball team knocked it out of the park in their last game of the season! To top it off, they celebrated with an ice cream party that was a real home run. It sounds like they had a ball! Congratulations to the team on a season well played.

✍️ Mrs. Thompson's Kindergarten class learned about and watched the life cycle of a butterfly. Recently, they wrote letters to their butterflies while learning about the three parts of a letter. They then read their letters to the butterflies before they were released outside. 🦋

Students were recently inducted into both the National Honor Society and the National Junior Honor Society! Both programs aim to empower and equip students with the knowledge and skills to be leaders in their schools, communities and beyond. NHS recognizes high school students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Likewise, NJHS helps middle-level students develop the knowledge and skills to become well-rounded student leaders. Induction into these societies is a great achievement and a testament to the hard work and dedication of the students involved. New NHS Inductees: Madison Davis, Addison Dillenbeck, Emma Freas, Hannah Marker, Jacob Pitcher, and Alyssa Prine. At the last 4-H club meeting of the school year, students made poems & pictures about their favorite things the club did during the year! They also potted a marigold after learning about annual & perennial plants & the fact that marigolds are an edible flower (don’t spray them!)!
