
Sixth graders recently visited Niagara Falls and took a trip on the Maid of the Mist! Students and chaperones alike enjoyed spectacular views of the falls while getting soaked! 🌊









🧊 Our PreK3 archaeologists had a great time excavating these frozen icy dinosaur eggs! They used droppers with warm water and other tools to melt the ice. All their eggs hatched cool dinosaurs that they were able to take home! 🦖





📚 Fifth graders experienced history through the lens of Old Fort Niagara! The field trip was led by a knowledgeable docent, and students enjoyed being among the reenactors and artifacts, and listening to the water of Lake Ontario. 🌊











✍️ Mrs. Thompson's Kindergarten class learned about and watched the life cycle of a butterfly. Recently, they wrote letters to their butterflies while learning about the three parts of a letter. They then read their letters to the butterflies before they were released outside. 🦋


🥎 The Girls Modified Softball team knocked it out of the park in their last game of the season! To top it off, they celebrated with an ice cream party that was a real home run. It sounds like they had a ball! Congratulations to the team on a season well played.




Students were recently inducted into both the National Honor Society and the National Junior Honor Society! Both programs aim to empower and equip students with the knowledge and skills to be leaders in their schools, communities and beyond. NHS recognizes high school students who demonstrate excellence in scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Likewise, NJHS helps middle-level students develop the knowledge and skills to become well-rounded student leaders. Induction into these societies is a great achievement and a testament to the hard work and dedication of the students involved.

New NJHS Inductees: Sarah Corser, Emily Dill, Hannah Fox, Alviia Goigova, McKinley Price, Lilly Raduns, and Rylan Townsend .





🎤 STANDING ROOM ONLY: The auditorium was packed at the last Elementary School concert of the year! The Spring Concert was filled with toe tappin' tunes! 🎵 As our music season closes, we'd like to thank Jen Trupo, Kelly Follman and Becky Botsford. Our music teachers are amazing!

𝄞 Last week the Senior High Band/Chorus held their Spring Concert! Participating seniors were also recognized. The evening was music to our ears! ♪♫




A group of our students were able to visit the Strong Museum of Play today. They had a blast and learned many new, fun, exciting things!






At the last 4-H club meeting of the school year, students made poems & pictures about their favorite things the club did during the year! They also potted a marigold after learning about annual & perennial plants & the fact that marigolds are an edible flower (don’t spray them!)!





Mrs. Sparks' UPK friends have been busy learning about the life cycle of butterflies. The excitement of watching their caterpillars grow, build a chrysalis, hatch, and slurp up some sugar water was no match for watching them fly through the open sky in Lyndonville! 🦋🤩





Our 6th graders recently had a field trip to the Buffalo Bisons Kids Day at Sahlen Field! As you can see, a great time was had by all! ⚾🎉🤩





Congratulations to Trenton Muck and Matthew Miner, who were recently recognized at the 41st Annual Youth Recognition Banquet, presented by the Orleans County Youth Board. The Youth Recognition Awards are presented to those who "have demonstrated outstanding or extraordinary contributions to their communities or families." Congrats to Trenton and Matthew!

Some of our students had a visit from a therapy dog today, Denali. They were able to walk her, pet her and practice calming their bodies to spend time with her. We are so grateful for this visit from our friend Denali and her mom, Ms. Stoll.

Fourth graders completed an Erie Canal songwriting project with local musician Judd Sunshine! He performed Erie Canal and folk songs, then met with each class to help them write a song about the Erie Canal before making and performing a recording of their songs! Thank you, Judd!
