Recently, 16 Lyndonville juniors attended the NACAC National College Fair at Buffalo State! Students traveled to the college to meet with admission representatives from schools across the country. With over 200 colleges and universities in attendance, students have an opportunity to have specific questions about the decision-making process answered as well as learn from representatives from each institution what makes their college or university special. Not to mention, the attendees always love going to lunch afterwards - this year they went to Sonic!

Lyndonville’s National Junior Honor Society has teamed up with Caps for Kids, a national non-profit organization that is committed to giving caps that are signed by professional athletes and celebrities to children that are battling cancer. Students were encouraged to participate in the annual cap day initiative and we were able to raise $150. This fundraiser brings awareness and support to children being treated for cancer. Thousands of people have participated in the Cap Day fundraiser to help raise funds and awareness to the cause and Cap day is a fun opportunity for students to give back to the community. The proceeds all go directly to Caps for Kids. Thank you to all that have participated in helping us raise $150 to go to Caps for Kids. These simple donations can go a long way in the lives of young cancer patients.
