Third graders enjoyed some fun activities recently to celebrate the completion of the NYS ELA Assessment. They enjoyed an ELA Theme Park Escape Room and a scavenger hunt outside! They even found some baby bunnies on their hunt!


Congratulations to Austin Gardner for his silver medal in Electronics Technology at the 2023 NYS SkillsUSA Leadership and Skills Championships!

Lyndonville CSD's Fishing Derby is Saturday, May 6 from 11am-2pm on the Creek bank at the school! All children, parents, guardians, faculty & staff welcome. Limited fishing poles & bait are provided. Fishing licenses are not required. Registration is at 10:45am in the cafeteria.

Mrs. Sparks' PreK class is learning about animals, and visited Mrs. VonHendy's class last week for some fun animal projects! What a paw-some lesson! 🐯🐘



Last week, Mrs. Thompson's kindergarten class listened to "The Lorax". They created their own "How To Plant a Tree" books by writing a page each day. They then read to each other the books that they wrote and illustrated. Great job to our talented Kindergarteners!

✔️ WHO IS ELIGIBLE?: Students in grades PreK-6 who receive Medicaid, Child Health Plus or children with no dental insurance and do not have a dentist. Some spots are open for older students.

Last week, Mrs. VonHendy's class grew by four (tiny) feet! They knew it was guinea be a good day when Ms. Becky visited students in the playroom with her family's guinea pig! 🤩

Lyndonville Elementary's 4-H students recently enjoyed an engineering challenge! Groups were given an assortment of popsicle sticks, clothespins, and binder clips to build a tall tower that could sustain an “earthquake”! It was great to see their creative methods!




First graders enjoyed a ukulele lesson with Mrs. Trupo last week! ♪ What better way to brighten a day when returning from school break?

MP3 report cards have been posted to the portal for students in grades 4-12. All MP3 report cards for students in grades PreK - 12 have been mailed or sent home with students.
Throughout February, our third graders read about how people in our history used their talents to help people. The unit ended with a third grade talent show! Some talents included playing guitar, gymnastics and stand-up comedy! We have some very talented third graders!

Recently, each Pre-K student received two brand-new, age-appropriate spring books to keep! Thank you so much to Aloha Books, Ohana100, and The Daniel Kahikina Akaka Family Foundation, who donated the books along with five boxes of gently used books for our older students!

Congratulations to the newest members of the Lyndonville chapter of the Leo club upon their induction this evening- and thank you to all club members for your service and leadership in our community!

Our third graders would like to thank Mrs. Trupo for arranging a field trip to attend the Roberts Wesleyan College Symphony Orchestra! Students enjoyed learning about all of the different instruments and hearing the music. The Star Wars theme song was a fan favorite!
