On Nov. 14, students visited the Center for Electronics Manufacturing and Assembly (CEMA) Lab at RIT. Former student Isaac Becker and RIT Professor Martin Anselm provided an enriching hands-on experience, allowing students a comprehensive overview of the electronics manufacturing process.
Congratulations to these Lyndonville students who were inducted into the National Technical Honor Society at the Orleans Career and Technical Education Center this month: Nathan Woodworth (Diesel Technology/Heavy Equipment), Jonathan Frasier (Diesel Technology/Heavy Equipment), Zachary Freas (Welding), Emily Miner (Allied Health) and Savannah Spoth (Cosmetology)!

Some more Halloween characters caught in class on Friday.
No matter which characters students and Hank assumed on Halloween, they still had to go to class.
Fourth-sixth grade students participated as audience members or performed in band and/or chorus on Halloween, then played games. Whether it was wrapping each other up as mummies using toilet paper or competing to see who can follow directions on touching various body parts that are called out or grabbing the cup in each round to determine the winner, a lot of fun was had!
Young students patiently lined the hallways at Main St. on Halloween to watch the parade of older students walk past, then they received treats from staff.
Parents/guardians are invited to the Digital Dangers presentation on Nov. 6 at 6 p.m. LCSD is hosting a watch party that night in the High School Library. Refreshments will be for sale from the Lyndonville Sports Boosters that evening. We hope you'll join us!
Kindergarteners had fun on Halloween using their five senses to explore pumpkins. They carved a pumpkin and made it foam, turned Reese’s Pieces into a magic pumpkin, and finished the day with trick-or treating through the halls!
