Congratulations to the Class of 2024! Here are some photos from the ceremony on June 28.

Join us on July 4 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. for a Pre-K/Kindergarten Open House at our Main Street building! Staff will be available on the front lawn to help families register their students for the 2024-25 school year.


On June 22, Elementary & Jr. High Chorus members attended a Batavia Muckdogs game, where they sang the "Star-Spangled Banner" & "Take Me Out to the Ballgame"! They had a blast watching the game, running the bases, getting autographs, taking photos with Dewey the Muckdog!





Congratulations to Lyndonville's Top 10 Seniors who were honored at a dinner on June 11! They are: Maddie B., Daniel B., Katelynn B., Austin G., Bradley J., Jocelyn M., Hailey S., Hannah S., Elizabeth W. & Tisha Z.

Pre-K 3 students "slid" into Pre-K 4 at their celebration on June 17. Students sang songs and posed for photos with their teachers and families. They are ready for summer! Congratulations!

The Kindergarten Celebration was held on June 18. Students sang songs and watched a slideshow of all they have learned this past year. Congratulations!


Sixth grade students were honored at their Moving Up ceremony on June 20. They were recognized for various awards, received their certificates and listened to messages from both principals, Dr. Smith and Dr. Slack. Congratulations!

Pre-K students celebrated their last day of school by having a picnic lunch inside, chasing bubbles, posing for one last class photo and playing parachute games in the gym. Hurray for last day!





Senior Walk was on June 12. Seniors walked through the Housel Ave. building while parents, teachers, staff and younger students lined the hallways, wishing them well as they inch closer to graduation.

Last week, elementary students performed their spring concert songs for their peers. Grades 3-4 Chorus; Beginner Band; Elementary Chorus, Jazz Band, and Band; and Combined Grades 5-8 Band performed a variety of music. Bravo!

Middle-High School students and staff enjoyed a beautiful day of outdoor activities for High Five Day! It was one for the memory books!











The LCS Modified Track Team had a wonderful season filled with many personal bests in both track & field events at each meet. After our final meet in Attica, the team enjoyed pizza & team awards. Great job, Mod Squad! Keep running!


Teachers Heather Mufford, Katelyn Smith, Amy Olsen and Katherine Byrne were granted tenure at the June 10 Board of Education meeting. Congratulations to all!


Congratulations to Living Environment Teacher Kathy Wronski on her retirement! She was recognized during the Board of Education meeting on 6/10, along with Library Media Specialist Bob Santella & Cleaner Gary Newman, who are also retiring in June. Thanks to all for your service!


Thank you to outgoing Board of Education members Steve Vann, Sue Hrovat and Ted Lewis for many years of service to the Board.


Last week, fifth graders stepped back in time by touring one of the oldest forts in North America, Old Fort Niagara. They learned about our region's rich early American history from passionate presenters, and wonderfully preserved structures and settings.






Monday, June 10th, a Driving Under the Influence demonstration will be conducted for Senior High Students. Emergency vehicles, including police, fire, ambulance, & Mercy Flight, will be on school grounds. Please don't be alarmed, this is for educational purposes.

Girls Modifed Softball wrapped up their season on Monday evening with a win against Alexander, making their record 8-1 this year. That was followed by pizza, Hojack ice cream, and our softball awards! What a wonderful season!



Congratulations to our Modified Baseball team on their winning season! Great job today to finish with a win against Alexander.
