
Senior Walk was on June 12. Seniors walked through the Housel Ave. building while parents, teachers, staff and younger students lined the hallways, wishing them well as they inch closer to graduation.

Last week, elementary students performed their spring concert songs for their peers. Grades 3-4 Chorus; Beginner Band; Elementary Chorus, Jazz Band, and Band; and Combined Grades 5-8 Band performed a variety of music. Bravo!

Middle-High School students and staff enjoyed a beautiful day of outdoor activities for High Five Day! It was one for the memory books!











The LCS Modified Track Team had a wonderful season filled with many personal bests in both track & field events at each meet. After our final meet in Attica, the team enjoyed pizza & team awards. Great job, Mod Squad! Keep running!


Teachers Heather Mufford, Katelyn Smith, Amy Olsen and Katherine Byrne were granted tenure at the June 10 Board of Education meeting. Congratulations to all!


Congratulations to Living Environment Teacher Kathy Wronski on her retirement! She was recognized during the Board of Education meeting on 6/10, along with Library Media Specialist Bob Santella & Cleaner Gary Newman, who are also retiring in June. Thanks to all for your service!

Last week, fifth graders stepped back in time by touring one of the oldest forts in North America, Old Fort Niagara. They learned about our region's rich early American history from passionate presenters, and wonderfully preserved structures and settings.






Monday, June 10th, a Driving Under the Influence demonstration will be conducted for Senior High Students. Emergency vehicles, including police, fire, ambulance, & Mercy Flight, will be on school grounds. Please don't be alarmed, this is for educational purposes.

Girls Modifed Softball wrapped up their season on Monday evening with a win against Alexander, making their record 8-1 this year. That was followed by pizza, Hojack ice cream, and our softball awards! What a wonderful season!



Congratulations to our Modified Baseball team on their winning season! Great job today to finish with a win against Alexander.


Senior High Band & Chorus students performed a variety of songs in the Spring Concert on May 29. Songs were sung in Swahili and Spanish, as well as English. We heard the band play the sounds of war, a ship on the high seas and a song from "Indiana Jones"! Bravo!

On May 29, several juniors visited SUNY Brockport for a presentation and tour of the college. Students also experienced the "World's Greatest Cheeseburger" and the finest custard ice cream in this region.








On May 30, 13 students were inducted into the National Honor Society. Congratulations!

Last night, 16 students were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society! Congratulations!

Thank you to local farmer Fred Bergeman for speaking to the 4-H Club. Students learned about different kinds of cows, their food & what keeps them healthy. They enjoyed a special treat while coloring a picture of a cow. Be sure to thank a farmer in June - Dairy Month!





Lyndonville Elementary students enjoyed Fishing Club after school today!

Junior High Band students performed a variety of songs in the Spring Concert on Tuesday night. We heard the sounds of Shakespeare, Godzilla, a shipwreck and one of Neil Diamond's most famous tunes! Bravo!

The Junior High Chorus performed in a Spring Concert on Tuesday night, with songs sang in Latin and Swahili, as well as English. Well done!
