Reps from GCC assist college-bound students with experiences designed to build their capacity to be successful in a college environment. Students had a great time touring the college & hearing from current college students about the transition from high school to college.

The goal of the program is aligned with the SUNY Guided Pathways Framework to support rural students through academic & career planning and advisement from the beginning of career & major exploration, through to their graduation from GCC.

In November, interested juniors & seniors traveled to GCC for a program facilitated by Pathway to Success. Pathway to Success is a new grant-funded program offered to rurally coded GLOW area high schools & rural college students at Genesee Community College.
